Easton Cowgirls
We are the Easton Cowgirls Football teams part of Easton Cowboys and Cowgirls Sports and Social Club, a socially and politically-focused organisation that is run entirely by volunteers.
We are part of a global network of clubs who recognise all people’s right to equality, irrespective of their age, class, culture, disability, gender, race, religion, or sexuality.
If you’ve never kicked a ball before or you've played as a pro we’ll do our best to make you feel welcome at our training sessions at the bottom end of Eastville Park from 7.30 pm, we’ll then probably try and convince you to join us for a pint at our pub The Plough in Easton.
For more info about who we are visit our website here.

Portishead Possets
We are the Portishead Possets, linked to Portishead Town FC - a grassroots, lovely local community club, where most of us have children who play for the Juniors.
The initial ethos behind our team was “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!” You would think that if you spend hours watching your children train and play football, you’d have at least some of the knowledge required to play football yourself right?
Well it turns out knowledge about what to do, and the skill to do it are very different things! But we train, we laugh, we learn, and then we laugh a bit more. We train at 6.30 to 7.30 in Portishead, either at the Football club in the summer, or local Gordano School through the winter.
If you’re interested in joining us, please contact us through Instagram or give me a call or text Rachel - 07469 232483
Steps FC
Introducing Steps FC! A vibey and inclusive grassroots football club for all women and non-binary people of any ability.
Steps FC are passionate about football and getting everyone involved with the game. Our purpose is to provide an open and safe space for women and non-binary players to easily access and enjoy football.
We aim to create an environment where people can be comfortable and thrive as their authentic-selves, while facilitating their footballing ability and development.
We train every Monday night at Lockleaze Sports Centre 7-8:30pm. Get in touch through Instagram, or email!
Why are we called Steps FC you might ask? Is it a nod to the iconic dance-pop group of the 90s? Founded in 2017, we actually got our name through our affiliation with The Christmas Steps pub.
